Do you have samples?

Samples of all of our fragrances are available to purchase in a set. We offer a set for our Signature collection flight and our Black Label collection flight.

Do you make custom fragrances for people/businesses? 

We take on a limited number of custom fragrance projects each year for individuals, as well as co-branded collaborations and private label projects. A great amount of detail and time goes into creating a custom fragrance. We use high-end materials and create an entirely unique formula unique to each client. I see you link food, fragrances, and cocktails. Can I add Sfumato scents to my food or drink?

Please do not ingest any of our products. Although our scents are based on culinary combinations, not all fragrance ingredients are food safe. However, it is entirely safe to smell our products while eating or drinking, either by wearing, spraying in the air, or scenting a napkin.

How should I store my fragrance?

We recommend storing your fragrances in a cool, dry place. Since our products contain essential oils, please avoid leaving products in vehicles, extreme temperatures or direct sunlight.

What if I have sensitive skin?

People can be allergic to many different ingredients used in both all natural and synthetic cosmetics. The natural ingredients in these fragrances may cause skin irritation or other adverse reactions in a small percentage of people. Because of this, we recommend testing the product on a small patch of skin before using it to your heart’s content. All products are for external use only.

Which scents are for men and which are for women?

We believe that scent is a personal expression of your individuality and it’s truly up to the individual to select scents that are right for them based on their skin type and personal preference, regardless of gender. 

Can I carry Sfumato products in my store?

How is shipping handled?

Orders are processed within 1-3 business days from the time we receive them. Orders must be shipped via USPS ground because products are in an alcohol base. Alcohol-based products are restricted and required by the U.S. Department of Transportation to be shipped by ground-only transport, due to air transport restrictions and regulations. Regrettably, our items cannot be shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.

You will receive an automatic notification from us once your order has shipped with a tracking number. We are based in Detroit, MI and charge 6% sales tax for any orders shipped within Michigan.

What is the return policy?

Due to the nature of our products we unfortunately cannot accept returns, all sales are final. We suggest trying our sample flight of fragrance before purchasing a larger bottle. Please keep in mind are products are natural and therefore may vary from batch to batch.

We take care to make sure all orders are correct. This includes double checking your order and packaging everything carefully. Occasionally accidents do happen. If your order arrives damaged or incomplete please let us know right away so that we can correct the problem.
